The Courage to Be Yourself

I really hope that it seems to you that the photos above are of supermodels. That means I've accomplished my task! Because the models whose photos you see are ordinary women. They vary in age and body type. What unites them all is the desire to show the world a small but important part of their feminine beauty.

How does a photoshoot take place?

I want you to feel comfortable from the very beginning. Every step is designed to enhance your beauty.

Long before the shoot, we start with a discussion. You share your expectations, and I'll answer all your questions.

Our task is to ensure that no surprises arise during the shoot. Nude posing is a psychologically sensitive process. Almost all women who are photographed this way for the first time feel a certain nervousness due to the unknown - this is completely normal. And it always passes because during the shoot, you will be focused on achieving the desired result. If you think the photo session is happening as often stereotypically shown in movies - believe me, that's complete nonsense.

We will choose the looks that suit you best.

I am an advocate of complimentary photography and sincerely believe that every woman can be portrayed as attractive and sexy in photographs. This is precisely what a photographer is responsible for during a shoot. However, not every style suits every woman. It can be challenging to capture images that highlight pronounced muscle definition if you naturally have soft curves, and vice versa. I will suggest options that suit you, taking into account the features of your appearance, and explain why they will work. Undoubtedly, these options will also be influenced by my personal perception. But it is precisely my personal vision that forms the basis for creating photographs where you will look beautiful.

During the shoot, I will help with poses and explain what's happening.

I rarely work with professional models. Almost always, my lens captures ordinary women, and the vast majority of them are posing nude for the first time. No one knows how to pose at that moment. Assisting with pose construction is my responsibility as a photographer. I will demonstrate, explain, and adjust the nuances to ensure you look aesthetically pleasing in the frame.

We'll decide together in advance what to do with the finished photos.

Just like with the concepts for the upcoming shoot, we will discuss in advance what can be done with the resulting photos. You decide whether these images can be published on social networks and photo sites, used for contests and exhibitions, etc. You decide if you want to maintain your anonymity: links to your profiles can be omitted; shots can be taken without a recognizable face through cropping, posing, and lighting, etc. Take a look at my work - it's possible that your acquaintances have been among my models, but you wouldn't recognize them if they didn't want you to. The comfort of my models before, during, and after the shoot is the most important part of the entire process, for which I am responsible as a photographer.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

SERG VOSTRIKOV

I have been working in the art-nude genre, dare I say, for over 15 years. My goal has always been to show that beauty exists in every woman, regardless of age, appearance, or posing experience. I believe that every woman deserves to see her true self. Through the lens, I reveal what might have been hidden. It's more than just photographs — it's a way to see one's uniqueness.

You're in good hands.

My level of expertise is confirmed not only by the opinions of my wonderful models but also by the ratings from professional juries of various specialized photo contests.

Aesthetics Guaranteed

My works are published in magazines not only because the women in my lens look attractive and sexy, but primarily because these photographs are aesthetic. They are about beauty.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't find all the answers here, just write to me and I will respond to you personally.

What to do if I usually don't look good in photos?
It is believed that there are photogenic and non-photogenic people. But in reality, it's not black and white; it's always a matter of degree. Yes, some people are more photogenic, some less.

However, this only means that some have more flattering angles, while others have fewer. In any case, there are flattering angles for every woman, and the skill of the photographer lies in finding the shooting angle, setup, and lighting conditions that best showcase the model.

Moreover, when talking about photogenic qualities, it always refers to portrait photography, where the main focus is on the face. In the case of nude photography, the face is often secondary, to be frank. Furthermore, we often deliberately try to avoid recognizable faces for the sake of anonymity. So there's nothing to worry about.
But what if I don't have such a great figure like those models?
Throughout my years of photography experience, I've met very few women who believed they had a flawless figure without any imperfections.

The photos you see create the impression of a model's perfect figure. This is achieved through posing, the right lighting and optics, focusing the viewer's attention on the right aspects of appearance, and, ultimately, editing. This requires skill from the photographer. It requires experience. But it works with every woman.

This is the magic of art—it reveals the part of reality that creates an idealized image. Not to mention, women often underestimate their attractiveness and sensuality. You have a great figure. Period.

And if there's a part of your figure you don't like, we simply won't emphasize it. It's that simple.
I've never posed before, is that a problem?
Not at all! I will help with framing options, recommend poses, and explain what we will need for the shoot.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE PUBLISHED?
There are creative shoots, the purpose of which is to create works for further publication. In this case, it is implied that both the model and the photographer can publish these works wherever they see fit. Participation in such a shoot is free for the model.

We will discuss all the details with you in advance - these photos can be published, but these cannot; without a face is allowed, but with a face is not; on this online resource, photos can be posted, but on this one, they cannot, etc. We decide first - then conduct the photoshoot.

There are private shoots where the model acts as the client. We will also discuss the setup, poses, and all other aspects of the shoot with you in advance. But your photos will remain private, with no publication from my side. You can do whatever you deem necessary with the photos you receive. Such shoots are paid. I would like to show you examples of such photoshoots, but unfortunately, I cannot - they are private.
What will I get from the shoot?
I deliver finished retouched works suitable for large-format printing and reduced versions for online publication. Usually, this includes 10 different photographs.

I don't provide hundreds of shots where each differs from the previous one by a slight turn of the head or a minor nuance of the pose. These will be 10 truly distinct works—I strive to create photographs that you wouldn't be ashamed to hang on the wall.

I usually don't provide the raw footage because I consider them just one of the intermediate technical stages—the foundation that I sift through when selecting suitable shots.

Mastery lies not only in preparing for the photoshoot, not only in working on set, but also in choosing which "raw" shots to select and how to refine them. This is the result that I deliver.
Where is the PHOTOSHOOT taking place?
Almost always, a photo studio is rented for a photoshoot - it has the necessary lighting equipment, ready and predictable interiors, and generally good lighting conditions. Importantly, privacy during the shoot is not disturbed. It's a perfect neutral territory where both the photographer and the model are just guests. We come, take the photos, and leave.

Shooting can be done outdoors during the warm season. Such shoots are more challenging, requiring consideration of many additional factors. Most often, I am willing to do such photoshoots only with models I have previously worked with.
How long does the shooting take?
Most often, it's two hours when it comes to shooting in a photo studio. This is usually enough time to get comfortable and gather enough material to end up with those 10 distinct photos.

Typically, it's more convenient to shoot in the first half of the day if we're talking about posing in interiors with natural light. If you're taking pictures in a classic "dark" studio with flashes, then we're not tied to daylight, and the range of convenient times is much broader. Aim for the weekends.
How to Prepare for a Photoshoot?
Get a good night's sleep before the shoot. This is the most important recommendation - don't come in tired, especially for your first shoot. Other than that, you probably won't need to do much except for what we discuss in advance. There might be some props like clothing or shoes, possibly some agreed-upon jewelry, etc. Just minor details.
Who does makeup and hairstyling?
For the nude genre, especially if the images are mainly planned without a recognizable face, as you understand, some creative and complex makeup is completely unnecessary. Personally, I am a proponent of the most basic makeup. Perhaps because I lack a keen sense of style.

There are, you know, photographer-stylists for whom the interaction of the color of the shadows and the lady's handbag is important, but I must admit, I am not one of them. And I rarely photograph models with handbags. The same goes for styling - we either let the hair down to use it for the dynamics of the shot or to better hide the face, or we tie it in a bun if we want to show a beautiful curve of the neck and shoulders.

In general, if the image requires something specific, we will find a makeup artist, but this is actually quite rare. Most often, your makeup is in your hands!
